Game Ideas

Mini Exploration Game

A first-person game where the player needs to explore the (likely small) game would to find a number of simple puzzles (or could also just be objective points). After each of the puzzles are completed, something in the game changes, such as enemies becoming stronger, new areas becoming unlocked, changes to the map etc. The game will also have a day-night cycle that affects aspects of the game like enemy spawns and doors opening and closing to give access to and trap the player in areas for periods of time. Enemy encounters in the game will have simplistic Minecraft style combat where you click on something within range to deal damage to it.

The game would focus on making the game world an appropriate size so that the player can’t complete it too quickly, and also on having the combat functional over puzzles being playable or the terrain being visually pleasing.

Card Game

A TCG style of game with cards having 3D models to represent them after they are played, similar to what Adventure Time Card Wars did (back when that was a thing).

Cards have a built-in levelling mechanic that makes them change stats and appearance as the game progresses. Likely just one or two changes per card.

The game would focus on having a playable card game over graphics and 3D models that look good, meaning the game may need to lean on grey boxing. A significant amount of time would probably need to be spent choosing game mechanics before anything could be implemented. The target audience would be people that like TCG style game that likely already play them (of which there are many).
